Scientific breakthroughs are enabled by new capabilities in astrophysical instrumentation from space platforms. The next frontier in space astrophysics is massively parallel large area spectroscopy from space. This workshop will gather scientists and engineers to discuss the science drivers and design optimizations for the next generation spectroscopic missions.

Location: The workshop will take place on October 19-20, 2018, in the Hameetman Auditorium in the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics at Caltech, click here for directions and campus maps.

Parking: Once arrived at the Caltech campus, it is convenient to park in the underground parking structure under the soccer field adjacent to the Cahill building. An all-day permit ($6) can be bought at the pay stations located at the first and second floor of the parking structure. The campus and parking map is available here.
